The world in this book is pretty brutal for women until (to his credit) Killian becomes alpha and starts trying to make their lives a bit less hellish. But he and the other wolves in his pack still need a whole foot up their asses to realize women do have needs beyond their mate’s knots. But great news! Once Una provides that foot, Killian becomes a very very good boy, tripping all over his big scary paws to please her. So if you have a tyrant alpha in your life like Killian or you really like getting kicked when you're down like Una, this boot tread paddle will be perfect for you!

The Book: A Breath of Fresh Air by Allegra Hall

Why They Pair So Well Together: I firmly believe that fifty-year-old human Amaia would have eventually worked up the courage to take Brett in his wolf form. A Breath of Fresh Air is, well, a breath of fresh air. Unlike our last two wolves, Brett is sweet and respectful and down bad for Amaia basically from day one. The only thing standing between Amaia and getting knotted on a New Zealand beach with a giant werewolf above her to keep her warm is the small issue of their size difference. Brett’s human-shaped knot is a lot for her to take, and his wolf is even bigger. But it’s nothing a little stretching and lot of lube can’t fix. I paired this with this set of progressively larger dilators to help get things moving along, and my personal favorite lube. Why They Pair So Well Together: In That Time I Got Drunk and Yeeted a Love Potion at a Werewolf, literal golden retriever Felix has it so bad for Brie that he turns into a wolf when they’re getting frisky. Unfortunately, Brie tells him it’s a hard limit and he changes back. We respect boundaries in this household, so I paired this book with a very wolfy dildo for store-bought shifted wolfcock, and a heart-shaped collar for Felix because he’s a very good boy and I think it would make his tail wag.
